Kuna aega on nüüd jälle rohkem, istusin just enne diivanil (varem näiteks ei istunud, sest aega polnud), vaatasin majade taha vajuvat päikest ja sirvisin Oxford Companion to Food-i. Seal on märksõna Culinary terminology, kus tsiteeritakse hoopis ühte 1877. a ilmunud raamatud Kettner´s Book of the Table, autoriks Eneas Sweetland Dallas. Ja kirjutab nii: "It seems as if all the ignorances in the world had conspired together to darken speech and to stupefy cooks. There is no science of cookery possible without a correct phraseology. Science is but another name for clear and classified knowledge; and the first step to it is precision of speech." ja siis et "I cannot help thinking that cooks would do well to combine with their cookery a little attention to the alphabet". Päris asjalik ju. :)

Mi lingi järelvaatamiseks lisasin üleelmisse postitusse.
